The New York City Lions are a Youth Football & Education Program located on the Lower East Side focused on serving young people ages seven to seventeen throughout the five boroughs.
Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 6:00-8:15 at East River Park.

TEAM NEWS
Our Fall 2023 practice schedule includes Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 6:00-8:15, with games on Saturday or Sunday. All practices during the 2023 season will take place at East River Park, FDR and Houston Street, Field 6. The field is reachable from Delancey/Essex Street by M14A SBS or M14D from Union Square.

A Winning Culture
Led by Program Director Tim Cavanaugh, the New York City Lions won their first NYCYFL Championship in 2021, defeating the LBX Empire in overtime.
After coming up short in the 2023 NYCYFL Championship game, Coach Douglas Wardlaw and the Lions completed an undefeated season and won the 2024 NYCYFL Championship over the LBX Empire, marking the program’s second championship in four years.
The program has won the Gotham City Football League Championship in both 2023(14u) and 2024(10u)
